Industrial Development Corporation and Marine Products Export
Development Authority of India, with Higashimaru International
Corporation and Higashimaru Foods Inc., as its Japanese partners.
Higashimaru Feeds is the first fully automated shrimp feed plant in
the country. The company commenced commercial production in June
1992. |

With
a scientifically balanced feed formulation, the Higashi feed range
is processed specially to provide excellent water stability,
nutrition and long shelf-life.
The unit produces special
purpose shrimp feed for intensive and semi-intensive shrimp cultures
by special extrusion process. It also produces feed for extensive
and traditional cultures.
The Company has introduced a new
line of Dog feed called Top Dog.
Higashi is the only
producer of medicinal shrimp feed in India. Higashi also introduced
the concept of Bio-mass in the aquaculture industry. |
