Mission
Statement
|
 |
Creating an environment for
food processing in India which meets the highest international
standards. |
|
 |
Inculcating stringent hygiene
standards in our employees. |
|
 |
Adopting the latest
technologies in seafood processing. |
Amalgam has ventured
into the Domestic Indian Market with the 'Sumeru' brand.
|
Hygiene Hygienic
practices are pursued with religious zeal at all Amalgam
facilities; bacteria-free water, handwashes and foot dips
at every turn, sterilized gloves, caps and masks. These
practices, along with state-of-the-art technology, ensure
that our products are of the highest international
quality. |
|
Testimony
to this is the fact that all units are ISO 9002 certified by BSI
and HACCP programs are in place in all the seafood factories.
Out
of five factories approved by the EU after the ban in 1998, three
were Amalgam units. This fact alone is a reflection on the Quality
standards maintained by Amalgam..
