Accelerated Freeze Drying Co. Ltd .is a joint venture company with Nissin Foods and Itochu Corporation, Japan.  The Company specializes in the production of Freeze Dried ingredients for the food industry.

The Company has world class manufacturing facilities in Kochi and Bangalore with an annual production capacity of 550 metric tons per annum of finished product.

This Company was set up in 1986. The Cochin facility processes only marine products. The Bangalore facility processes freeze dried pepper corns, culinary herbs, tropical fruits and nutraceutical and cosmeceutical ingredients.

The manufacturing facilities have all the required international certifications.

The Company presently employs 550 employees.

The Company has been in the freeze dried business for over two decades. Exports are to Japan, the European Union, United States of America, Australia and New Zealand.
